What is peeling
Peeling and scrubbing have the same aim — skin regeneration, old cell exfoliation and new cell synthesis boosting.
In cosmetology, peeling is a way of removing keratinized particles from the skin surface. The main ingredients of an acidic peeling are fruit (AHA) acids, which weaken the bonds between the epidermal horny scales and accelerate their exfoliation. Probably, the most popular is glycolic acid.
Peeling functions are: skin regeneration; fighting the signs of photo aging (wrinkles, pigment stains); smoothing skin texture and reducing pores; fighting skin imperfections. How to use: they may be combined with other care products.
The impact of fruit acids on skin
Getting onto the skin, fruit acids primarily act against keratinized cells. It is desirable to start working on the skin relief with the mildest acids. Otherwise, there is a risk of irritation, followed by post-inflammatory stain, especially on unprepared and dehydrated skin or on the skin with damaged lipid barrier. After using the product with fruit acids, apply SPF cream or foundation to avoid burns or hyperpigmentation.
What is a scrub
This product category aims at mechanical removal (exfoliation) of dead skin cells with particles, which can scrub keratinized cells along with impurities from the skin surface. In our products, scrubbing particles are natural — ground fruit stones, berry skin and herbs. The creamy peeling texture and product formula will care of your skin.
