How to choose a sunscreen
Before the selection, identify your photo- type. Kit depends on the degree of the natural skin protection, i.e. the quantity of melanin, synthesized in skin from solar radiation. Overall, six photo-types are singled out. The lighter skin is, the weaker its own protective mechanism is, which increases the probability of burns. The first three photo-types – white skinned persons, who hardly have any protection – require the maximum SPF 50+, representatives of photo-types 4, 5 and 6 need SFP 20 and 30.
Sunscreen features
The product name clearly indicates its main function – to protect skin from ultraviolet, which not only gives it a beautiful golden shade, refreshing complexion, but may also threaten skin beauty and health.
It has been proven that UV radiation is the main cause of photo-aging. If you ignore protection warnings or carelessly treat the choice of the face sunscreen, it may turn into serious problems in a few years: early aging; pigment stains; dry skin; visible vascular spider; large pores; rough skin texture.
There are two kinds of radiation affecting human skin: UVA and UVB.
· UVB-rays
they make up only 5% of the whole range of radiation; they are responsible for suntan and cause sun burns.
· UVA-rays
They penetrate deeper into skin, without causing any visible damage. Their harm may accumulate for years and once appear as hyperpigmentation or wrinkles.
